The idea for this site came from an experience I had purchasing an early model Volkswagen Bus (TYPE 2). To say the least, that experience was a bad one. The person who sold me the bus was not very forthcoming about its condition. I posted the sad story about my exploits with this air cooled vw on the popular site- the samba.com. To my suprise I received a lot of email both supportive, constructive, and critical. But most of the mail was from people who had experienced the same things as I did. Thus.. this site serves the purpose of telling thsose stories and helping people who are interested in buying a volkswagen. If you have a story to tell, were scammed, or wipedout by a person, please contact us.
